My youngest brother, Justin (18), a Senior in High School, performs with the Kickapoo High School choir. They had a competition in San Antonio this past weekend. On their way to San Antonio, they stopped at the St. Andrews Presbyterian church in Denton, Texas, to receive some additional instruction from the UNT Denton choir director.

Denton is about 20 minutes from Keller, so Brian's sister, Monica, the kids and I took an excursion. The church was beautiful and the music was even better. We had a few minutes to chat and catch up before Justin and his choir continued on their way. It was so nice to see Justin. He is really growing up fast...I was just starting my freshman year in college when he was born...if you look really closely, you can see my new wig...it is a little wind blown and looks better when it's styled.

I'm so glad you posted a link to your blog on your Facebook page. I have been thinking about you and praying for you. I miss living there in Texas and all my Texas friends although I really love it here in Maryland too.

I love Justin! He is such a good kid! He had a lot of older siblings who were great examples to him! So cool that you guys could see him! I didn't even know Kickapoo traveled! I am Shara's friend, Meagan, by the way. It's always good to see how her family is doing. Best wishes, and lots of prayers to you!
